Description |
What you see in the photos is exactly what it looks like, a Jurassic Dinosaur Poop. This specimen is about 160 million ye4ars old and comes from an area in Uth known for Coprolite. I picked this and several others up at a rock shop in Utah a few years ago and have sold most of them. I kept this one and a couple of others because they really looked like poop and are manageable sizes. I use coprolites such as this one at the local grade schools when I give fossil talks and the kids love them. In fact, everyone who comes into contact with a coprolite for the first time will have a comment about it. If you don';t put this fossil in your collection, put it on your desk or coffee table and have fun with it. The specimen weighs almost 2 pounds and when packed will be right at or just over 2 pounds.Add $4.50 for shipping and $1.00 for insurance if wanted. Good luck bidding on this unique trace fossil. Please check out my other fossil auctions.
