Back in the 1950's, once you had your atomic bomb fallout shelter built and stocked, you needed this handy little item to tell you when to get your butt down there! The instructions on top of the plastic domed device state: Shake gently until some beads float; seek shelter at once if all beads drop; remain in shelter until some beads float; instrument is unreliable if blue disk turns to red. The little illustrated folder gives further info, including instructions on how to monitor Conelrad (remember that piercing shriek that announced a Conelrad mock alert on the radio?) This item is a piece of history. My mother, who has owned it all these years, swears the little beads used to float; these days they all just lay there on the bottom. The blue disk is still blue, however, so I guess we are safe for the time being. Shipping is $3.20 priority mail with insurance being your option. International buyer may use Billpoint and pays only actual postage. PayPal payment gets next day shipping. Thanks for looking and happy collecting!

If you're the seller or the high bidder - now what?
Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.
If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from eBay.
